We are very sad to announce the death of our founder and CEO, John Ormond, at his home on Wednesday 3rd June 2026. Always a joy to work with and a kind and gracious gentleman. We extend our sincere sympathy to his wife Diane and family.

John was a former top unit trust and investment manager, who moved to the Isle of Man in 1978. He then taught himself programming  to service his new Insurance Company.  John has particular expertise in understanding and meeting user requirements, with very small system changes where required. He started Central Software in 1984 and moved to CSI in 2014.

Peter gained a PhD in Ionospheric Physics from Leicester University and worked for several years in the computer services department before joining Central Software in 1987. He moved to CSI in 2014. He works in all areas of Central Software International including consultancy, specification, database design, coding, data migration, customer support and management reporting. His other activities include singing, playing folk music, wildlife volunteer, the Manx language and being a churchwarden.

Kerry is a fully qualified accountant who has been looking after the CSI accounts for many years. She also runs the accountancy company Ignite Accountants, specializing in helping new start-up companies grow. Kerry is a Director of CSI.
